Most of his work explores forms and figures through the recurring use of vibrant colours and contrasting focal points in black and white. The paintings don’t usually have an intended meaning nor do they follow a conceptual thread, however it often happens that they end up becoming an abstract record of thoughts, feelings and ideas that were present during the process. He makes things that excite him and more than anything Oscar simply enjoys the process of creating.
Alongside the art he is studying and working towards becoming an architect which he has found feeds into the it with a growing interest in space and form. It also motivates a freer creative process as a counter force to the much more composed and restrictive art form that is architecture.
